New Citroen e-C3X Electric Coupe SUV Launched in India

Citroen has expanded its electric vehicle lineup in India with the launch of the new e-C3X. The electric coupe-style SUV has been introduced at an introductory price of Rs 10.25 lakh, while customers opting for the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program can get it at a starting price of Rs 6.89 lakh, making it more affordable for EV buyers.

The e-C3X stands out with its stylish coupe-inspired design. It combines the practicality of an SUV with the sporty appearance of a fastback. The vehicle gets a bold front fascia, LED lighting elements, attractive alloy wheels, and a sloping roofline that gives it a modern and premium look.

Inside the cabin, Citroen has focused on comfort and practicality. The e-C3X offers a spacious interior with a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument display, wireless smartphone connectivity, automatic climate control, and connected car technology. The rear seat space and boot capacity are also expected to be among the highlights of the vehicle.

Powering the e-C3X is an electric motor paired with a battery pack designed to offer a practical driving range for daily commuting and occasional long-distance trips. The company has also included fast-charging capability, allowing users to recharge the battery more quickly when needed.

One of the biggest attractions of the new e-C3X is Citroen’s Battery-as-a-Service option. Under this model, buyers can purchase the vehicle at a lower upfront cost and pay separately for battery usage. This approach helps reduce the initial purchase price and makes EV ownership more accessible to a wider range of customers.

Safety features include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, reverse parking assistance, and several other modern safety technologies. Higher variants may also offer additional premium features and advanced driver assistance systems.

With the launch of the e-C3X, Citroen is aiming to attract customers looking for a stylish electric SUV that offers practicality, modern features, and a more affordable entry point into electric mobility. The combination of a unique design and flexible ownership options could help the e-C3X stand out in India’s growing EV market.
