Kia starts production of all-new Seltos in India
Kia has started production of the all-new Seltos at its Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh. The company will officially launch the SUV and reveal its prices on January 2, 2026.

The new Seltos is a bit bigger than the current model. At 4,460 mm long, it is now the longest SUV in its segment. The design looks more premium and bold, with a bigger Tiger Nose grille, new LED headlamps, vertical LED DRLs, L-shaped tail-lamps, new mirrors, and flush door handles.
Inside, the cabin feels more modern. It gets a fresh dashboard layout with dual 12.3-inch screens, a new 3-spoke steering wheel, head-up display, panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seats, dual-zone AC, Bose sound system, an AI assistant, OTA updates, and Level 2+ ADAS for advanced safety.
Kia will offer three engine choices:
- 1.5-litre petrol (113 BHP, 144 Nm)
- 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (158 BHP, 253 Nm)
- 1.5-litre diesel (114 BHP, 250 Nm)
Buyers will also get multiple gearbox options including manual, iMT, IVT, DCT, and automatic transmissions. Source TeamBHP
