With this update, the model now gets an illuminated panoramic roof along with upgraded driver assistance features. The 5 Series LWB is priced at ₹73.35 lakh (ex-showroom).

Key Highlights:

Panorama Glassroof Sky Lounge with Illuminated Graphics

Uses ambient lighting with dynamic LED effects

The 5 Series LWB now comes equipped with the Panorama Glassroof Sky Lounge. It features special printed patterns on the glass, combined with LED lighting to create multiple color and lighting effects. These lights work with the car’s ambient lighting system, change according to driving modes, and remain visible even in daylight. The large glass roof also brings more natural light into the cabin, making it feel more spacious.

Driving Assistant Plus Adds More Active Safety Features

Includes warning systems and stop-and-go cruise control. The update also adds Driving Assistant Plus, which includes lane-change warning, front collision warning, rear collision warning, and cross-traffic warning. The system offers active cruise control with stop-and-go, allowing the car to maintain distance from the vehicle ahead and come to a complete stop if required, including in stationary traffic. All features can be controlled through the steering-mounted buttons.

A 2.0-liter Petrol Engine Is the Only Option

Available exclusively in the 530Li M Sport LWB variant. The 5 Series continues with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 258 hp and 400 Nm, supported by a 48V mild-hybrid system that adds another 11 hp and 25 Nm when needed. The model is sold only in the 530Li M Sport LWB variant, which is designed for enhanced rear-seat comfort and increased legroom.

Previous 2025 Update

BMW last updated the 5 Series LWB in July 2025, replacing the earlier 18-inch wheels with standard 19-inch alloys based on customer feedback.
