Mahindra has launched a new Star Edition of the Thar Roxx in India. This special edition is available with both petrol and diesel engines, with prices starting at Rs 16.85 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Thar Roxx Star Edition is offered in four colour options – Tango Red, Everest White, Stealth Black, and a new Citrine Yellow shade. On the outside, it gets a gloss black front grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, and Star Edition badges on the C-pillars, giving it a sportier look.
Inside the cabin, Mahindra has added several premium features. These include black leatherette seats, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There is also a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a Harman Kardon sound system.
Under the bonnet, the Star Edition continues with the same engine options. Buyers can choose between a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol or a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both engines come with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the diesel version also gets a 6-speed manual option. However, this edition is not offered with 4×4.
