Tata Punch Facelift Launched at Rs 5.59 Lakh, Features and Functions.

Tata Motors has launched the updated Tata Punch in India with a starting price of Rs 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The facelift brings fresh styling, more features, and new engine options to the popular small SUV.

The new Tata Punch is available in six variants: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Accomplished, and Accomplished + S. A sunroof is offered on the Pure+ and Adventure variants, while the AMT automatic gearbox is available on the Pure+, Adventure, and Accomplished trims.

For the first time, the Punch gets a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, borrowed from the Tata Nexon. This engine produces 118 BHP and 170 Nm and comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Tata claims the Punch can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.1 seconds with this engine.
Lower variants continue to use the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 87 BHP and 115 Nm.

There is also a CNG version, producing 72 BHP and 103 Nm. Both petrol and CNG versions are available with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT, making the Punch the first subcompact SUV to offer AMT with a CNG option.

In terms of design, the Tata Punch facelift gets a major visual update. It now features a sharper front look with sleek LED DRLs connected by a black strip, vertically stacked headlamps, and a redesigned front bumper with a silver insert, giving it a more modern and bold appearance.
