Built on an all-new Gen 3 EV architecture
Promises minimalist design and a long driving range
Tata Avinya EV Coming in 2026 End.
Tata Motors is preparing to launch its most futuristic electric car, the Tata Avinya EV, by the end of 2026. This model is expected to be a major step forward for Tata in the premium electric mobility segment. Through concept reveals and industry teasers, the Avinya has already created excitement — and it is set to look and feel completely different from current EVs in terms of design and technology.
Tata Avinya is Gen 3 electric architecture.

The Tata Avinya will be developed on the company’s brand-new Gen 3 electric architecture. This dedicated skateboard-style EV platform has been designed specifically for battery-electric vehicles. It focuses on delivering a long driving range, fast-charging capability, advanced software integration, strong structural rigidity, and flexible component packaging.
Inside, the Tata Avinya is expected to offer a minimalist, clutter-free cabin. With a flat-floor design and lounge-like layout, the interior will feel spacious and open. Tata is likely to use sustainable materials, simple controls, and comfort-focused features, giving the car a premium EV experience — different from traditional SUVs or MPVs.
Looking ahead, Tata Motors plans to launch five new electric cars by 2030. As part of this roadmap, the Sierra EV and the new Punch EV are expected to debut in early 2026. With its new Gen 3 platform, premium design, and user-centric approach, the Tata Avinya could become a true game-changer in India’s rapidly growing electric vehicle market.
