The bike continues to use the same 649cc parallel-twin engine as before. It produces 67 BHP at 8,000 rpm and 62.1 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm. The big update is that the engine is now E20 fuel compliant. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and an assist & slipper clutch for smoother gear shifts.
The suspension setup remains unchanged. You get a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. For braking, the bike has twin 300 mm discs at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear, along with dual-channel ABS.

In terms of design, the Ninja 650 still looks sporty and aggressive. It has sharp body panels, dual LED headlamps, and a 4.3-inch colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity. It also features Kawasaki Traction Control for added safety.
The 2026 Ninja 650 comes in a single Lime Green colour with blue, black, and white graphics.
