Ducati has launched the 2026 Panigale V4 R in India, and it comes with a huge price tag — ₹84.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the most powerful, most exclusive, and most track-focused bike in Ducati’s lineup.
The Panigale V4 R is a limited-edition superbike, and every unit gets its own unique number.
It is built on a new frame that’s slightly less stiff than before to improve handling. At the back, it uses a hollow, symmetrical swingarm.
The design looks similar to the Panigale V4 S, but Ducati has added MotoGP-style “Corner Sidepods” and bigger wings. These parts increase grip while cornering and produce about 25% more downforce than the previous model, helping the bike stay stable at very high speeds.
Under the fairing sits a 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine that revs up to 16,500 rpm. It produces 215 BHP at 15,750 rpm. With a racing exhaust, power increases to 232 BHP — and with Ducati Corse Performance Oil, it can go up to 236 BHP. Ducati says the bike can hit a top speed of about 330 km/h.
The V4 R also gets a race-style gearbox, where neutral is placed below first gear. This reduces the risk of accidentally shifting into neutral while braking hard. Ducati has also added new tech to better control engine braking and help riders use the rear brake more confidently while entering corners.
For suspension, the bike uses manually adjustable Ohlins units — an NPX 25-30 fork at the front and a TTX36 monoshock at the back. Braking performance comes from high-end Brembo brakes.
